Official distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has announced the immediate availability of the HP EliteBook Folio G1, a notebook with a super-thin aluminium chassis and sharp 12.5-inch screen, available in Touch or Non-touch options.
At 12,4mm thick and weighing only 0,99kg, EliteBook Folio G1 is one of the lightest notebooks in its class; despite its form factor it passes multiple MIL-STD 810G (US Military standard) tests that includes drops and exposure to dust, shock and vibration.
Aesthetically the Folio G1 boasts a diamond trim that spans the edges of the upper and lower base.
Security features include TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 2.0 encryption. The Folio G1 also features HP’s Sure Start with Dynamic Protection, a self-healing feature which guards the BIOS and keeps a separate “clean” copy of it available.
In addition to a single 3.5-mm audio jack, the Folio G1 has two USB Type-C ports (with Thunderbolt 3 technology) that can be used for charging, connecting to multiple monitors or transferring data at blistering Thunderbolt three speeds of up to 40Gbps.
