Ricoh SA has brought two new smart boards to market (75-inch 4K and 65-inch HD) that enhance its collaboration and communication portfolio.

The smart boards are an integral component of digitalised offices and the deep interconnectivity people increasingly require to be efficient, productive, flexible, and agile. They go hand-in-glove with next-generation digitalised office automation, workflow and process services, and other communication services that are the springboard to enterprise digitalisation.

Realtime tools help people actively participate in presentations and meetings and work together on real-time projects no matter where they are, with little interruption to their daily schedules, and more effectively than using other tools.

The two boards, the D6510 and D7500, offer connectivity options that integrate tightly with other Ricoh office tools and personal devices. Bluetooth connects to smart phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. Multiple USB ports (USB 3.0 and 2.0) attach to hardware, such as keyboards if desired that make browsing the Web really easy, or attaching additional storage devices.

The smart boards can be secured with the optional SNLX integration that facilitates simple, secure, card-based access and enables annotated documents to be printed or e-mailed.

The 16:9 aspect ratio with 1920×1080 touch resolution is directly compatible with many secondary displays. The boards have their own powerful speakers and they are compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems.
