Fujitsu has introduced the Lifebook U938 — an enhanced version of its flagship ultra-mobile notebook designed for road warriors and frequent travelers.

The lightest fully featured business notebook on the market today, the Lifebook U938 comprises 8th generation Intel Core vPro processors, full size connectivity ports and enterprise-grade biometric authentication.

The 13,3-inch (33,8cm) Lifebook U938 is just 15,5mm tall and weighs in at 920g. It offers full size interfaces for HDMI, USB types A and C, audio combo, SD and a smart card reader, plus an optional 4G/LTE module.

The notebook is also equipped with a long battery runtime.

The top-of-the-line Lifebook is also highly secure, featuring Fujitsu’s PalmSecure advanced biometric authentication system which uses individuals’ unique palm vein patterns to confirm their identities, and help prevent unauthorised access to data.

Users can alternatively specify a fingerprint reader for acess control while further security is provided by the integrated SmartCard Reader and inclusion of the TPM 2.0 module for hardware-based authentication.

Available in red or black, the Lifebook U938 has a durable but lightweight magnesium casing. It also provides an excellent viewing experience with its full HD anti-glare display or an optional touchscreen, while the optional integrated 4G/LTE modem ensures data connectivity at any location.

The Lifebook U938 is available to order immediately in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India, with the first shipments starting in March 2018.
