Lenovo’s new laptops are amongst the first devices on the market to be verified as part of Intel’s Project Athena innovation programme.

Project Athena is set to usher in a host of new enhancements for Lenovo laptops. They include an Instant Resume feature, enabling them to wake up from sleep in less than a second, and feature up to four-hour battery life in just a 30-minute quick charge.

Built-in AI and advanced voice assistance will sense the needs of the user, optimising performance and responding intelligently to better meet each person’s requirements. Screen viewing areas will expand, with thinner bezels that allow for far more immersive displays.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon includes optional Global LTE-A connectivity, up to 15 hours of battery life—along with RapidCharge technology—with an 8th Gen Intel Core.

The 14-inch Lenovo Yoga C940 is the new 2-in-1 convertible laptop with all-metal chassis and built-in features,like TrueBlock Privacy shutter, Windows Hello biometric authentication, and garaged pen with silo charging and Windows Ink.

It boasts an improved battery life of up to 17,5 hours in FHD, and up to 10,5 hours with a UHD display.

The 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor upscales video content on Windows Media Player to Super Resolution for a crisper image on an optional 4K HDR display. It supports fast Wi-Fi 6 and comes with a Dolby Vision-enabled display and a redesigned Rotating Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos Speaker System. An engraved camera notch makes 14-inch Yoga C940’s twice-polished aluminum lid easier to open.

With a full range of intelligent features thanks to Lenovo Smart Assist, Project Athena and Alexa, the 14-inch Lenovo Yoga S740 has an all-aluminum body and color-matched keyboard.

It is powered by up to 10th Gen Intel Core processors and touts a hands-free IR camera login and time-of-flight (TOF) sensor, comes in at 1,4kg and is 18.1mm at its thickest point. The Yoga S740 has a 14-inch optional 4K VESA400 HDR display with Dolby Vision9 and Dolby Atmos Speaker System, optional NVIDIA GeForce GPUs, and an upgraded Eye Care mode.
