Huawei has launched the latest addition to the Y series, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019.
New features include an atypical pop-up front camera, an ultra fullView display screen, and a powerful triple camera set up at the back.
The selfie camera is neatly tucked away into the top of the device and the front camera snaps up in less than a second when activated.
It include a 16MP lens and a F2.2 aperture, as well as 3D portrait lighting features.
The selfie camera is tested for 100 000 pop-ups and retractions and is proven to withstand up to 15kg³ of pressure, plus thrive in extreme environmental conditions – from as cold as 20°C to as hot as 60°C. An intelligent protective feature detects free falls and automatically retracts the lens as much as possible.
